PERSONAL CHILDHOOD WEB

PERSONAL CHILDHOOD WEB
There are many persons who have supported me throughout my childhood some still do. They have contributed to my success. I will share five persons who make up my microsystem. They   are all very close and dear  to me.

This wonderful couple is Mr. and Mrs. Tyndall, my parents. I have so many fond memories of my mom and dad during my childhood. I remember when I was about six years old, my dad took me shoe shopping. He allowed me to try on every shoe in the children section before choosing one that I liked.  My mom taught me to read. I remember snuggling in her bed with my sisters for story time. They have motivated me throughout my life to work hard and strive always to achieve my goals. My parents value education and ensured that this value was instilled in me and my siblings. The home environment that they provided helped me to feel secure and stable as a child. Due to this I have grown into a strong emotionally well woman.

These are my sisters. I am blessed to have them in my life. They are very opinionated and at times can be very annoying, but they have always been very supportive to me all through my childhood and continue to be that way even now. We love each other and support each other. During our childhood we always went everywhere together. No one picked on us when we were together. We have been best friends since childhood.  These values were encouraged by my parents during childhood.

This is my Aunt  Stephaine,my father's sister  Everyone calls her my second mom.  She has been a great inspiration to my life. I remember being very attached to her as a child. The bond that was shared between us when I was child easily made her my favorite aunt. She is an educator and inspired me to become one.  She continues to inspire me and encourages me in my education.

 My Mom’s Sister, Aunt Joan.
She is the most humble, caring, loving person ever. During my childhood she was a constant presence in my life. She was always affectionate. She took me for walks and listened to my babble patiently. She migrated when I was in my teens, but we still remain good friends. My childhood memories of her are uplifting.

This is my Uncle Wilton, well its the only photo I have of him. All through my childhood he inspired me to always do my best. He would give money to my cousins and me for excellent performances in school. This motivated me extrinsically as a child to work well. I believe that today I am intrinsically motivated to do my best always because of him.

My first week at Walden

It is amazing that I have chosen to embark on  a journey with Walden University. I am finding this experience  quite rewarding. I have been fortunate to share this experience with persons from all over the world. Walden is certainly proving to be my best decision ever.
